“Woman abuse” describes any kind of abuse or violence a woman is subjected to because she’s a woman. Woman abuse is sometimes referred to as gender-based violence, domestic violence, or violence against women. Whatever it’s called “it’s not okay”.
As November is Woman Abuse Awareness month in Ontario, our focus will be on issues surrounding woman abuse in all its forms. We hope you’ll come back often for resources and information to share. with your networks, family and friends.
