Durham Men Take Action (DMTA) are a group of volunteer men in Durham Region, committed to ending Violence Against Women through education, awareness and community leadership.

WHO WE ARE

We're just a group of regular guys - guys who are concerned about what's taking place in our neighbourhoods, homes and communities when it comes to the treatment of women and girls. DMTA is a new movement of men and boys working together to end violence against women and promote healthy relationships. We're looking for guys like you to help us make a difference in whatever way you can - small or large - it all matters.

WHAT WE DO

In partnership with the Violence Prevention Coordinating Council of Durham (VPCC) and Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), DMTA organizes sports and other community events for men and boys that create opportunities for discussion and change, to help tackle the wide-spread problem of Violence Against Women.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

It doesn't take much to make a difference. Even if you only have an hour to offer; your influence and input can have a huge impact.
